Secretary
Responsibilities:
- Providing secretarial/administrative support
- Scheduling meetings
- Minutes taking
- Handling travel arrangements
- Opening and sorting of mails
- Demonstrate essential overall knowledge of the organization
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
- Minimum 5 years of secretarial experience with a Private Secretary Diploma or its equivalent
- Able to multi-task and prioritize with a strong sense of urgency
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Dynamic and motivated person
- Mature in thoughts with strong interpersonal skills
- Meticulous and confident individual with a strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality
Responsibilities:
- To record and process all reservations inquiries
- Up-selling and promote hotels' products and services
- Execute action plans to increase reservation sales and associated business
- Record and process reservations made by phone/fax/email
- Work closely with Front Office and Finance
- Monitor reservation levels of current and future occupancy rates
- Preparation of daily reports
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level with 1 year of relevant experience
- Able to work weekends and public holidays
- Meticulous with figures
- Competency in Microsoft Office
- Communicate fluently in both spoken & written English
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Responsibilities:
- Supervision and management of all food preparation and kitchen organisation
- Coach and train junior chefs/ cooks in culinary skills
- Ensure food quality is consistent
- Routine quality control checks
- Attend/handle guests’ feedback on food quality
- Maintain food & safety management system as per hotel’s policy
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in hotel industry
- Must have experience in all aspects of Muslim food preparation process
- Sound knowledge in Al-a-carte, banqueting & buffet presentations
- Basic knowledge of Western cuisine will be added advantage
- Possess people management skills
- Fluent in both spoken & written English
